In this conversation, Sam and I talked about his unwillingness to publicly debate proponents of the stolen election claim and skeptics of the COVID 19 vaccine including our mutual friend Brett Weinstein, and the reasons why Sam chose not to engage Brett publicly.
But at its heart, our conversation was about the project of intellectual persuasion as a means to rebuild social trust among diverse groups. We reflect on the intellectual dark web's impact and potential paths to rehabilitate our political society.
