Ukraine shows off drone footage from Crimea bridge attack

The attack on the Crimea bridge on July 17 killed two civilians and caused serious damage. The Ukrainian security service (SBU) are therefore proud to present footage of exactly how they did it.

The assault craft was the ‘Sea Baby,’ an unmanned waterborne suicide drone. Vasyl Maliuk, head of the SBU, told CNN that ‘sea surface drones are a unique invention of the Security Service of Ukraine.’ He also claimed that Ukraine’s Western allies had shown interest in the completely unique remote controlled boat.

The ‘Sea Baby’ was also used to target the Russian oil tanker ‘Sig’ and ‘almost certainly’ damage the Olenegorsky Gornyak landing ship.
