The Moon Is Thrown Out Of Orbit By A Mysterious Force Rushing Towards Earth In A Collision Course

A mysterious force dislodges the Moon from its trajectory around Earth and sends it hurtling toward the Earth on a collision course with life. Jo Fowler, a NASA executive and former astronaut, is confident she holds the key to rescuing us all with just weeks to go before impact and the planet on the verge of catastrophe. However, only one of her former coworkers, Brian Harper, and conspiracy theorist K.C. Houseman believe her. These unlikely heroes will launch a desperate space expedition, abandoning everyone they care about, only to discover that they have planned for the incorrect mission. Will they be able to save the Earth from annihilation?
