Hajime no Ippo: The Fighting! - Episode 48

Growing up, Makunouchi Ippo faced relentless bullying, leading him to be stuck with menial responsibilities and an unshakable thirst for change. Unfortunately, his lack of motivation hindered his ability to pursue his aspirations. One fateful day, Takamura Mamoru, a boxer, came to his rescue amid a brutal attack and brought him to the Kamogawa boxing gym to recover. Although Ippo felt overwhelmed by this new environment, he was still riddled with self-doubt. However, Takamura gave him a renewed sense of drive by placing a photo of his classmate on a punching bag, encouraging him to let out his frustrations. With newfound inspiration, Ippo implored Takamura to train him in boxing, despite his doubts about Ippo's potential. Takamura then challenged Ippo to an impossible task with only one week to complete it. Nevertheless, fueled by his newfound determination and a desire to support his mother, Ippo embarked on his journey toward becoming a boxing champion, forging ahead with hope in his heart.
