CORRECTIONS TO MY STATEMENTS AT THE 8-13-23 CLASS
>> At 17:24 to 17:29, “he [Mark] wrote while Peter was still living in conjunction with Mark” should have been “he [Mark] wrote while Peter was still living in conjunction with Peter”

>> From 32:05, “any case of man-made evil and suffering that’s not the result of unavoidable ignorance” should have been “any case of man-made evil and suffering that’s not the result of the judicial paradigm, except in cases of unavoidable ignorance.”

>> At 39:45 to 39:47, “Gospel of Job” should have been “Book of Job.”

>> At 1:11:25 to 1:11:34, “it got into Luke’s gospel” should have been “it got into Luke’s sequel to his gospel.”

>> From 1:15:38 to about 1:15:57 I stated that “I don’t think there’s a single case on this list where anybody would have known consciously what they were doing.” In the discussion that followed I adhered to that basic line of thought. Upon reflection I realized that Doug was on the right track and that the statement I made that none of the people perpetrating the distortions knew consciously what they were doing was totally erroneous. This is probably the most important case of the class teaching the teacher that has happened so far in our class. Doug’s insights open a range of closely related topics, and we will need to follow up on this as soon as possible. Although there may have been subconscious motivations behind the distortions, the behaviors were definitely consciously deliberate in at least some of the examples given. As an example of the further examination needed here, my statement at 1:16:43 “and that it’s subconscious” should have been “and that it’s subconsciously motivated.” The topic is bigger than what can be covered in this list of corrections to my statements.
