Body camera footage of an officer tasing and arresting a man suspected of entering a church, stealing, and injuring a female victim has been released.

According to Oklahoma City Police Department (OKCPD), the incident happened on June 27 downtown in the 100 block of NW 4th Street, and the suspect took off a skateboard.

In the footage seen coming from Sgt. Trayvion Jones's bodycam, you can see where the suspect was able to get away, as Sgt. Jones's taser did not work on the first attempt.

On the second attempt, his taser did work and the suspect fell to the ground face-first. He then was taken into custody by responding officers.

Police said the charges filed against the suspect are robbery and possession of stolen property.

The victim's stolen purse was also recovered during the arrest.

OKCPD said the suspect was later determined to have felony warrants out of California.
