17 MINUTE SOS GRAVY

Ingredients:

*1 ½ pounds ground chuck

1 small white onion, diced.

1 small bell pepper, diced

1/2 stick of butter

½ cup all-purpose flour

2 cups whole milk.

1 tsp.cracked pepper
1 tsp. salt.

Directions:

In a large skillet fry hamburger meat for about 7 minutes with chopped, diced vegetables and drain; set meat with fried vegetables aside.

Add butter to skillet, melt on medium to high heat and drizzle in flour while scraping the pan.

Continue stirring for about 2 minutes getting out any lumps and smoothing out the mixture into a paste-like consistency, add milk a little at a time, with continuous stirring, around 3 minutes total.

Then fold the meat mixture back into the skillet and heat through with the gravy, around 3 minutes.

Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve. 2 minutes.

Serve with biscuits, or toast.

*Recipe can also be made with ground sausage or corn beef hash.
