Driver Tries to Merge Off On-Ramp a Bit Early

Info from Licensor: "On April 5, 2023 I was travelling behind a vehicle going up a newly paved on-ramp from Shaganappi Tr NW to 16 Ave NW in Calgary, Alberta. The vehicle proceeded to drive off the ramp and entered 16 Ave NW several meters before the merge lane. The driver quickly corrected and continued driving. Because the road was new and the merge lane was much shorter than it used to be, I believe the driver relied on muscle memory and misinterpreted the area. I followed the vehicle for a short time afterwards to ensure the driver was ok."
