I'm writing a paper on my proposition that the Mongols absorbed Eastern Christianity for its affinities spiritually.
I propose using Max Weber's categories of social and economic theory to explain why Eastern Christianity was absorbed into the civilizations east of Byzantium into the Mongol Empire's subsequent kingdoms and rulerships.
I don't have any citations here.
Next time, I will discuss how the Mongols were not a religion but rather a spiritualism that evolved into the Mongols' expansive imperialism consisting of bureaucratic systems of honor and trust.
