The Nampa Police Department is launching a new program called the City Protect Camera Registry Program. The program is designed to help law enforcement gather evidence and solve crimes by registering homeowners with home security cameras.

Some people are worried about the privacy implications of the program. However, the Police Department has addressed these concerns by saying that they will only use the information collected from the program to solve crimes. They will not use the information for any other purpose.
