On August 15th, 1990, a fatal car crash claimed the life of the 28-year-old Viktor Tsoy, one of the most beloved rockers of the USSR and modern day Russia. His music is still very much relevant 33 years after his untimely death. For example, here's a beautiful rendition of his "Kukushka" by Polina Gagarina.

This is one of the last live recording of one of Tsoy's most well-known songs called "The Blood Type".
