Renowned within the region, it acts as a magnet for climbers, drawing crowds eager to ascend. Despite the busy atmosphere, the invigorating sensation of exposure while scaling it makes the endeavor truly worthwhile. With steep drops on either side into distinct valleys, the vistas on a clear day are truly breathtaking. Accessible through various routes leading to the Spazzacaldeira summit, the classic northeast ridge is the favored choice. This route is well-equipped with bolts, and a recent addition to its northern side offers an alternative, details of which can be found at the Albigna hut.
