Molten Glass Terrarium With Pond

n this week's terrarium tuesday I'm finally planting up my large molten glass over driftwood terrarium! The angles and colors of the glass lend this to having water and depth. To achieve the allusion of water I planted Pilea glauca down the slops ontop of some lush green live moss. The moss is mostly there for texture and contrast to help highlight the Pilea, I don't know how long it will stay since the Pilea will eventually crowd it out. I will try to keep it pruned to avoid that from happening but we will see what happens. In the upper compartment I planted a pink variegated Cryptanthus, Neoregilia and a small button fern. All of the plants I used here make great and easy to grow houseplants and are great plants for terrariums as well!
