"A pattern has emerged through long-term observations of Earth's geological activity: precisely during the 12,000-year and 24,000-year cycles, there's an increase in the number and strength of various types of #volcanic #eruptions, including stratovolcanoes. This is part of the planet's natural self-regulation mechanism aimed at increasing atmospheric #CO2 levels for protection.

The ocean also played a crucial compensatory role in the past. It transferred endogenous heat from the Earth's depths into the atmosphere, thereby cooling the magma. The #ocean also contributed to producing an ample amount of oxygen in the lower layers of the atmosphere, creating conditions for life. Simultaneously, volcanoes, by emitting CO2 into the upper layers of the atmosphere, formed a shield effect that protected the Earth from cosmic radiation.

However, through our actions as humans, by polluting the ocean with plastics and hydrocarbons, we've disrupted its compensatory mechanism, causing the ocean to cease its primary function of cooling magma. This is indeed alarming, as in previous cycles, it was the ocean that preserved life on the planet during cyclical catastrophes. Yet, we've deprived ourselves of this protection, thereby exacerbating the already highly intense 24,000-year cycle of disasters even further."
