How we will extract water from moon

We understand that water exists on the Moon, but the prospect of future astronauts being able to utilize it raises questions. This objective drives our efforts at NASA to provide answers. Our PRIME-1 project, which stands for Polar Resources Ice Mining Experiment-1, aims to address this challenge by collecting and examining subsurface lunar ice upon its arrival at the southern pole. This endeavor contributes significantly to our ongoing exploration for water on the Moon.
