Hey guys! Content creator here! Today we’re doing a nice little schizo rant about my relationship with internet media consumption, and how it has both negatively and positively affected my life from childhood to adulthood. Now, listen. This isn’t just a “awww kids these days scrollin on the tiktok” rant; this is my perspective as someone from the first generation raised with the internet. This is more of a musing on my own personal life story that I think my primary audience will be able to relate to and add their own input onto than it is any kind of structured algorithmic video essay. No, actually, this will be nothing. You’ll get it if you get it. Blah blah blah rising depression rates, loneliness, whatever. I’m not citing statistics and I really don’t care to. This is a meaningless, aimless speech given by a schizoid vtuber writing on google docs in his bedroom at 3AM. Y’know, if anything, maybe the fact that I expect you to expect me to make this a generic video essay is a testament to my own terminality.
