Ahmose and Ken have travelled to the city of Thebes but now they are the prisoners of the much hated Hixos Prince, the heir to the Egyptian throne, the tyrannical Peten- Ra.

Ahmose seeks out Antef, the physician, to ask about the meaning of the amulet given to him by his father figure Batu before his death.

But Ahmose has to prove his identity and becomes locked in the Black Tomb of Osiris where, terrified, he is forced to confront the Gods of the Underworld.
