US prepares for return of asteroid sample

Scientists are eagerly awaiting and preparing for the return of a NASA space capsule that holds a sample from an asteroid _ and possible clues of the origins of life on Earth.The OSIRIS-REx spacecraft launched from Cape Canaveral, Florida, in 2016 and reached asteroid Bennu in 2018. It spent two years flying near and around the ancient space rock before collecting rubble from the surface in October 2020. A capsule containing rocks and dust from the asteroid is expected to land in the Utah desert this September
