"Walking Alone at Eve" is a hymn written by Thomas R. Sweatmon and published in 1986.
The hymn is based on Psalm 141:2. The first line of the hymn is "Walking alone at eve and viewing the skies afar,
bidding the darkness come to welcome each silver star; I have a great delight in the wonderful scenes above,
God in His power and might is showinh His truth and love." The second line of the hymn is "Sitting alone at eve
and dreaming the hour away, watching the shadows falling now at the close of day; God in His mercy comes
with His word He is drawing near, spreading His love and truth around me and everywhere."
The hymn has been published in electronic hymnals and HFWR.

Philippians 3:20-21 "But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,
who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself."

Ephesians 2:19-22  "So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members
of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being
the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you
also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit."

Ephesians 1:19-21 "and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to
the working of his great might that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and
seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion,
and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come."

Acts 1:11 "and said, 'Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from
you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.'”

1Corinthians 1:7-9  "so that you are not lacking in any gift, as you wait for the revealing of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who will sustain you to the end, guiltless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord."

1Corinthians 15:28  "When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected
to him who put all things in subjection under him, that God may be all in all."

1Corinthians 15:50-53 "I tell you this, brothers: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God,
nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep,
but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the
trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.
For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality."

1John 3:2 "Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared;
but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is."
