When G-d asks us to do something, our ego often gets in the way. Sometimes we forget that ego includes the voice that says "I can't do it," "what I do isn't good enough," and other reasons we give which we mistake for humility. Ego is the voice that points to ourselves rather than to G-d. Any voice that says the opposite of what G-d says is the ego getting in the way.

The Creator is the one that gives the purpose and abilities to His creation. He knows His creation best. This means when the Creator asks His creation to do something, it reveals what creation's purpose is, and that it's created with the ability do accomplish what it's asked to do.
