Narcissistic and toxic people (not saying they all do this) but they like to tell on themselves. That way, the new supply thinks they can trust this person because they are being honest. When in fact the new supply is being lied too. They have no idea that the story they are being told is actually the truth of the behaviour the narcissist or toxic person did to their last relationship.
