The Sun doesn't have days like we do on Earth, but if you're referring to the 130th day of a hypothetical "Sun year," the Sun is a massive ball of hot, glowing gas. It emits light and heat through a process called nuclear fusion, where hydrogen atoms fuse together to form helium, releasing energy in the process. The Sun's surface, called the photosphere, has a temperature of about 5,500 degrees Celsius (9,932 degrees Fahrenheit), while its core reaches temperatures of up to 15 million degrees Celsius (27 million degrees Fahrenheit). This incredible heat and energy are what make life possible on Earth and drive our planet's climate and weather systems.
