Numerous countries and institutes have taken on the nearly impossible task of initiating a pilgrimage of humans to Mars. While we consider #ElonMusk, the tech giant, to have originated the idea, Russia has chosen to compete against him and #SpaceX. It is Russian’s desire that the first people to land on the red planet this time will be Russians. So, #Russia intends to use nuclear power to power its own spaceship, whereas Elon hopes to accomplish this feat with his Starship. Wow! Are you impressed? Hmmm… Nonetheless, the old communist-capitalist rivalry continues to exist. In the same vein, the Soviet Union holds high the honor of launching the first manned mission to the Moon since the lunar landing of Luna 2 on 13 September 1959.
