Life Coaching 101 - You're Going to Make Mistakes

You're going to make mistakes.

It is only natural for us to make mistakes when we are going through changes in our lives. The only way to learn something new is to mess it up until you get it right.

It is unrealistic to believe that you won't screw up sometimes. The trick is to learn how to forgive yourself. And, if you need to apologize to someone, then apologize.

Anyone expecting perfection out of you is not worth keeping in your life. This also goes for you expecting perfection out of yourself. Whatever that part of you is, it needs to be told to take a back seat.

Making mistakes is human. So, whatever that idealized version of yourself is, don't compare yourself to it. You can only get there by giving yourself grace. And remember, it's all about the journey and not the destination.
