Landing on Mars

Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun in our solar system. It's often called the "Red Planet" due to its reddish appearance, caused by iron oxide (rust) on its surface. Mars has a thin atmosphere and polar ice caps, and has been a target for exploration due to its potential to support life and its resemblance to Earth's past.
