Sadly, this printer just died... but it did last 13 years. Given how valuable this printer was and how the family needs/wants have evolved, Jay needed to take a well-informed and frugal approach in finding the replacement. This story serves as a great example of how to apply frugality where the cheapest option isn't the most frugal one for you.
