Codicote's Node Court has been abandoned ever since its frightening fire in 2019 which was the second in four years at the time. The thatched Grade II listed property was a former model dairy, which was built for an American businessman in around 1928, according to Historic England.
At the time, it set standards for 'hygiene and efficient dairy farming' in England. After being sold in 1938, it was further developed into racing stables.
Farming ceased in 1972 when the estate was split up and sold. However, the building was devastated by a frightening fire in July 2015, which caused £3.5 million in damages.
Just over four years later, another fire struck the building in October 2019.
