Strange Bedfellows: Libertarians & Communists?!?!

It might sound strange at first, but #libertarians and #communists agree on more than you might think.
I recently had a fascinating in-depth conversation with two communists: Tyler McConnell and Caleb Maupin (reporter for the Russian TV news network RT).

Both are members of the Center for Political Innovation (CPI), a #communist activist group that is swiftly attracting new followers from all sides of the political spectrum.

One thing we can all agree on is we want #peace between #Russia and #Ukraine now. That's our top priority.

We wanted this forum to be a friendly conversation -- not a debate -- to see what common ground we might have, and what issues we agree upon.

In Part 1, we introduce ourselves and talk about our individual understanding of what #communism actually is.

We also discuss how the definitions of communism and #socialism have been misunderstood, particularly in America, because much of what we were told about it was #ColdWar propaganda: a LIE.
