DONNER DED 200 ELECTRIC DRUM KIT – Broken Pad, SIMPLE FIX!

About a year ago, I saw a video about the Donner DED 200 - I think it was a 66Samus Video, I can't recall exactly. Seemed pretty decent for a low-budget, so I picked one up. At the time I was living in a small apartment, and my office was about half the size it is now - pretty small! It's not large at all now, but I digress.

I loved this thing! it was awesome!

At first glance, anyway. Don't get me wrong - it's really great for the price I paid for it, and I have beaten the crap out of this thing as much as possible. I've recorded around 60 demos with this so far, and although it works for some very basic ideas, that's about as far as I can take it.

I think this particular kit is far better suited for kids and simply learning how to play, than actually playing it for anything even slightly "serious".
