Jump pole cavalettis are fantastic training tools for not only getting a horse to pick their feet up, but they can easily be implemented in gymnastics and gridwork, help a horse pay more attention to their feet, enhance rhythm and consistent striding, warm up as well as strengthen muscles, increase balance, and many more benefits. Unfortunately, standard cavalettis on the market are crazy expensive for a simple pair of blocks to raise a pole off the ground.

And while buckets, ground feeders, pieces of wood, tires, and other miscellaneous objects have been successfully used as cavalettis, none have been as awesome as the IKEA Lilla Children's Green Baby Potties. These simple little products go for approximately $7 a piece, being far more cost-efficient than the cavaletti systems that don't hold sturdy nearly as well.

Absolutely love these for simple cavalettis, plus they have the added benefit of being extremely lightweight as well as easy to stack. I currently have 14 of these making 7 pairs of cavalettis and still plan to add more to the collection.
