Don't sleep on the Lumix S-5!

This is my first street photography short film made with my new camera: Lumix S-5. Record quality set to C4K, 24p, 422/10-L. The best part is Lumix's baked in 17:9 aspect ratio.

As said before, I'm working more intentionally. Since social media has thus far acted as a portfolio that attracts clients to my work — that's how I'm approaching this channel. I made this film, capturing my morning street photo scenes, handheld. It's been triple digits in Tucson for weeks, so I had to make time in the a.m. to produce this picture in order to avoid overheating my new Lumix.

Also this fun exercise gave me an excuse to perfect my voiceover recordings. My latest client-hired short film project required me to tell a great story via voice over.
I'm rusty.
And I also understand sound mixing better. The airiness you hear on the audio includes 30 seconds of radio silence in my recording studio. I believe that's a secret way to provide a pro soundscape for short films to documentaries.
