August 13th, 2014, was a nice summer day in the Donetsk People’s Republic. 18+

In the town of Zugres, many families with children were relaxing at the beach on Krynka river. Even though the Ukrainian army had been shelling neighboring towns, the new reality hadn’t sank in yet, and the unsuspecting beach-goers were just enjoying their beach time with their families. Then, a horrible tragedy unfolded...
...At first, nobody understood what happened. There was an airplane flying around, so the first thought was that the beach was attacked from the airplane. However, later, it turned out that the Ukrainian Army fired cluster munitions (https://russian.rt.com/ussr/article/1036237-zugres-plyaj-ukraina-obstrel-vsu-vosem-let) at the packed beach and several other places in town. Thirteen people, including 3 children, died instantly, more than 30 were injured. Six more people died later.
