Former President Trump spoke to the press after he pleaded not guilty to the charges against him surrounding his conduct on and around January 6th. Trump said that this was a sad day for America and commented on how run-down Washington D.C. appeared compared to when he left office. He also alleged that he was being persecuted because he was leading the Republican Presidential Primary, as well as Biden in hypothetical head-to-head polls.
