We got to see THE POPE!! Wednesday Papal Audience. Must do if in Rome!

This was definitely the highlight of the trip for us. In all honesty we don't see ourselves coming back to Rome, so this was a one and done vacation spot. That made this a must do. Seeing The Pope in person was a lifetime highlight.

If you are in Rome on a Wednesday, this is a must attend. Tickets are free and easy to obtain.

We had no idea, but right after this audience, His Holiness went into the hospital for his hernia surgery. But as you saw, he doesn't get around too well.
