Share. Subscribe. The Sun is 1,651.29 miles above Earth at the equator when circling. This is found using basic Arithmetic joined with Basic Trigonometry's " Angle of Elevation ". Venus, in the Heliocentric Religion model of a solar system, is about 3,100 miles in diameter. Hence, an impossibility to cross between Earth and Sun. This goes for Mercury as well. They can NOT transit (cross between) the Earth and Sun.
