Gender Identity and Suicide Attempts

After reviewing the findings of two recent studies, I reckon that heterosexual youth are much happier, healthier all round and less prone to thoughts of self harm compared to their peers who self-identify on a gender spectrum.

Knowing that young boys and girls are the future, we should be doing everything we can to secure it. The current rate of suicide attempts among Gen Zs point to the fact that the more mentally, emotionally, and physically unwell a population gets, the more the fabric of our rich civilization unravels.

This presents society with the moral obligation of providing a loving environment that fosters the proper social development of the most fragile among us, our children! Together, parents, priests, professionals and politicians can pave the way to higher mental wellness and falling suicidality among teenagers.
