Do You Need a Post Workout Shake?
Do you need a postworkout shake?
I’ll preface this with saying that meal timing isn’t important if your overall macronutrient intake is off. Most people’s diets are so abysmal that peri-workout nutrition won’t help much, but let’s assume that everyone reading this has a decent diet.
Like everything in life, nutrient timing is nuanced.
At the end of the day people spew optimal this and optimal that, but most folks don’t need optimal, they just need the basics.
Hit your macros for your given goal, train hard, get enough sleep and hydration and all that other good stuff we preach to be healthy and avoid dying.
