Change-of-Lineage Consciousness: Becoming "the Son of a Buddha" (Abhidhamma)

Gotrabhū Citta: this is Change-of-Lineage consciousness, an obscure synonym for the moment of Enlightenment which we find in the Abhidhamma Pitaka.

The idea is that you cease to be defined in terms of the "lineage" of the world, the 6 senses, past & future, causation, family, endless succesion of lifetimes, etc.
and rather have entered the lineage of the noble ones, who are timelessly Unbound from samsara —
the Masters who have found themselves to be none other than Consciousness, Nirvana, the Absolute, the Deathless dimension.
