Kinzhal Attack On Kyiv, Ukraine Lacks Arms To Change Balance Of War, Russia Downs Drones In Moscow

Russia reported intercepting a Ukrainian drone over Moscow, and later another heading to Moscow. Ukraine accused Russia of launching missiles towards the Kyiv Oblast. Debris from these missiles hit multiple locations in Kyiv, including near a children's hospital, but no casualties were reported. Ukrainian Foreign Minister, Dmytro Kuleba, expressed confidence in continued Western support for Ukraine, while also noting increasing skepticism from some Western quarters. Poland's President, Andrzej Duda, doubted Ukraine's military sufficiency to change the war's balance. Duda further expressed concerns about potential accidents at Ukraine's nuclear power plants. Russia's Ambassador to Washington, Anatoly Antonov, condemned both Kyiv and Washington for various violent incidents, including the killing of Russian journalist Rostislav Zhuravlev.
