Houtouwan: The Village Taken Over By Nature

Within decades of being abandoned, nature took over the Houtouwan. Dozens of dilapidated houses adorn the hillside that juts out to the sea. The winding dirt road that connects the houses and the remains of a fishing port, hints at the village's commercial past. If you take a peek into some of the former homes, you can see weathered household objects and forgotten pieces of furniture.
