Monaco is the second smallest country measuring only 1.95 square km. It is the most densely populated country in the world, with a population of about 39 thousand people. It is located in the south of France on the Côte d'Azur, only 10.6 km from the Italian border. Monaco is a principality headed by Prince Albert II.
