I Sgt. Jackson was assisting Detective Stewart on a call around 19th Street on the east side of town. Upon my arrival I noticed a woman in a red shirt standing in the middle of the road stopping vehicles from passing through. The caller gave dispatch a description of the female that was in the road and it clearly matched the female known as Ashley Taulbee. While making contact with the female I asked her to get out the road so traffic could flow she mumble words and started saying very weird things like private areas on males and different things as if she was in law enforcement. I and Detective Stewart finally got Ashley to walk home into her driveway. I advised her that if she got in the road blocking traffic that she would be arrested. While Detective Stewart and I and Sgt. Jim Gignac was leaving the area Detective Stewart and Sgt. Gignac noticed Ms. Taulbee get right back in the road prior to us leaving causing a vehicle to blow its horn trying to avoid Ashely in the middle of the streets. Detective Stewart and I advised Ashley that she was under arrest and to place her hands behind her as she fought against us both. I advised Sgt. Gignac to grab the pen out of her hand so it couldn’t be used as a weapon. Detective Stewart assisted in the arrest as Ashley resisted she was arrested and transported to the Arkansas County Jail.
