If you are having trouble running the game with non Nvidia graphics cards, you can force DX11 mode.
In order to do that:
1.- Go to your Steam library.
2.- Right click on Evergreen Demo.
3.- Click Properties.
4.- Go to General Tab.
5.- Under launch options write: -d3d11 or -dx11.
