The National Citizens Inquiry testimony of Babita Rana, a computer programmer with the University of Alberta for over 20 years.
In March of 2020, the staff had shifted to remote work with covid directives in place. The following year, everyone needed to get the covid vaccine to gain campus access. She applied for a religious exemption and was denied. Babita submitted a complaint with the office of Safe Disclosure and Human Rights at the University. No help from them or her union, who stopped her case after 14 months with no explanation.
The insanity was prohibiting her from doing remote work because she was unvaccinated. She had already been doing it the prior year. She just couldn't understand why they couldn't see her perspective or continue to offer testing if they refused her religious exemption. No one would listen. This caused her severe depression, anxiety, and sleep deprivation, which led to debilitating pain. Babita is under doctor care now but has advised that she might not have 100% recovery.

The covid restrictions and mandates hurt many Canadians. Please listen to their stories.
