About this interview:
Dr Sheena Fraser is a busy GP partner and trainer working in the south side of Glasgow. Never satisfied with sitting still she has interests in dermatology, minor surgery, lifestyle medicine and microbiome science.

Sheena has lectured in dermatology, sleep, lifestyle medicine and microbiome science. In 2022 she co-published "Gut microbiome for clinicians", an online course on the gut microbiome, with her fellow bugs enthusiast Dr Siobhan MacCormack in collaboration with the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine.

Not satisfied that they had educated a sufficient number of clinicians on microbiomes, Sheena and Siobhan launched "Microbiome Medics Podcast" in Dec 2023.

In this conversation we talk about the Gut Biome and how Sheena uses lifestyle medicine and microbiome knowledge in her every day clinical practice.

Hopefully after this podcast, it will inspire other doctors to do the same and for everyone else to look after their biomes.
