The US Army's Coast Division, led by Brigadier General Ambrose Burnside looks to take control of the strategic town of New Bern in the first step to limit supplies getting into Richmond. Then, Stonewall Jackson tries to tie down Union forces in the Shenandoah Valley but incorrect intelligence leads him to encounter a force twice as much as he had and it doesn't end well for the Rebels.
