A teenager with an iPhone X is likely to face judgement from those around them who assume they must be rich. The moral of this story is that we should never judge someone based on material possessions. We don’t know their story and we don’t know what it took for them to get where they are. We don’t know their struggles and sacrifices, or the hard work and dedication it may have taken to buy that phone. The same goes for any material possessions – they don’t always tell the full story. Instead, we should focus on getting to know someone and looking beyond what’s on the surface.
