Making a picture frame - power carving - Woodworking.

A backlit oak picture frame, with copper epoxy build.

I've had this Ode for some time and as it usually goes I have in the back of my mind I need to make something for something but its not till I see a piece of wood do I figure out what that bit of wood wants be made into, this is one such occasion and I literally tripped over this piece of oak, I'd left it to one side out of sight cause it was in such bad shape, but could not waste it.

This was a personal edit, something special for someone special, my Nan who sadly passed away ten years ago and greatly missed!!! Really feels like less time than that!!!
Sadly, my granddad 'Danky' passed away last night and didn't get to see this film, rest in peace Danky, miss you so much!!! I hope you're up there with nan watching this smoking a fat cigar like the good old days of Ibiza! Till we meet again XXX
