A Noble Heart | Jim Simpson | Sermon Only

City Church lead pastor, Jim Simpson, concludes our series Jesus At Work. Today’s text is on the parable of the sower. Often, we are like the disciples and the hearers of that day. We don’t understand the importance or implications of the parables to our lives. We need to take a look at our lives and determine which of the soil types we are. If we are rocky, what can we do to be made into fertile soil? If we are prone to being choked out by weeds, how do we find freedom? We should all desire to be the good soil that received the Word of God, internalizes it, and lives it out with joy and righteousness.

Scripture from this message:
Luke 8:1-25
