~Ogura Cake~
batter: 5 yolk, 1 egg, 70g milk, 45g oil, 100g cake flour
~Meringue~
5 whites, 75g sugar, 6g lemon juice
Mix oil and milk until a paste forms and oil and milk are no longer separate. Then add flour (Maida). Next, take 6 eggs and separate 5 yolks from the egg whites. Combine 5 yolks and 1 whole egg in the paste and mix at full speed. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites from 5 eggs with lemon until bubbles start to form. Gradually add some sugar and continue mixing, adding more sugar gradually until it's all incorporated. Beat for a while at normal speed in the same direction. Now, combine the two pastes in two parts and gently mix and beat
Hint: for best result use the water bath (bain-marie) method.
Bake for 1½ hour
